Product Reviews of Twinlab Ripped Fuel Increased Definition for Men and Women, 40 TabletsProduct Review: Where's the extra energy? Summary: 1 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I have been trying this TwinLab metabolic accelerator for almost two weeks now and I haven't really noticed any change. It's supposed to boost my metabolism and give me extra energy. But so far I haven't felt any difference. The pills are quite bitter and you better have a giant glass of water to take these because they will get stuck in your throat. Maybe they work and I haven't noticed yet. I wouldn't buy these or recommend them.
I get more zip from a plain black cup of coffee.
Product Review: Wonder Drug or Excess Stomache Acid? Summary: 2 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I tried this product out as best I could. I waited until I would have a full 3 weeks to go to the gym religiously and eat properly. I then followed the dosage instructions to a tee. Unfortunately, I saw and felt very little effect from this supplement. It is a great concept, but it just didn't do anything for me. Not recommended...
Product Review: Worked For Me Summary: 5 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Taking this product, along with reducing calories and exercising for 20 minutes a day, helped me lose 10 pounds in two weeks. Taking half an hour before exercising gave me extra enduance for my work out, and taking it on a full stomach with a full glass of water helped me avoid the quesy stimulant feeling that diet pills usually induce.
Product Review: Worked much better for me than Hydroxycut Summary: 3 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I approached this product with a certain amount of skepticism. I have tried using Hydroxycut in the past, and found that my system didn't react well to it. Besides making me somewhat nauseous, Hydroxycut also caused me to be excessibly jittery, and I had to stop using it. Fortunately, I did not have such a reaction with Ripped Fuel, which may be because of the reduced dosage. The label instructs you to take one tablet twice a day before a meal, which is a good deal less than the instructions for Hydroxycut.
I'm pleased to report that I did experience good results from using Ripped Fuel, and would probably use it again. I'm finally beginning to see my abs for the first time, and it does seem to help curb appetite, to an extent. (Of course, I'm also in the gym five and six days a week, so this is certainly just a supplement to, and not a replacement for, exercise. Don't expect to see results from this product if you're not willing to do your part as well.)
Product Review: Works for what I want from it Summary: 4 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I'm not a doctor, and can't give medical advice. I don't know exactly what the ingredients in Ripped Fuel do to my body -- all I can say is that taking one in the morning makes me feel like I've had a powerful energy drink without the calories that usually come with it.
No pill is going to give you long term weight loss without exercise and dieting. Having said that, I've found that when I've worked on weight loss with exercise and dieting I often reach a plateau where I don't see any gains. That's when something like Ripped Fuel is most beneficial -- it just adds a boost of energy that can push performance up a bit, get you working harder and assisting you in the process of making longer lasting the natural acceleration of metabolism that comes from aerobic exercise and from increased muscle mass due to strength training. I've tried a few non-ephedra based supplements like this one, and as far as I can tell this one is superior to most of the others I've tried. Things I've read support that as well.
Once again, I'm not a doctor and haven't done anymore than try this one for a few weeks, so anything I say about it is purely anecdotal. So far what I can say is that it seems to boost my energy levels and that motivates me to get out there and exercise and makes it easier to focus on foods that meet my needs rather than give me jolts of carbohydrate energy. As far as I'm concerned, you can't really ask for more. Plus, these are cheaper than energy drinks (and their effects seem to last longer).
