L-Tyrosine is the precursor to dopamine, a neurotransmitter that plays a critical role in mental energy, mood, and concentration.
I recommend these be taken first thing in the morning on a completely empty stomach, otherwise the product will get stacked with other amino acids from food and possibly get converted into protein instead of dopamine.
For me personally I take 2 grams in the morning, and 2 grams in the afternoon (before lunch)..it has greatly enhanced my concentration and mood.
Everyone is genetically different so there is going to be a variation on who it works for and who it doesn't. This particular supplement tends to work better for people with severe stress, depression and chemical imbalances in the brain than it does a healthy person.
