For the money, you cant buy a better shaving brush.
The brush is on the small size, and the handle is small. I wish it was a bit larger. But its a very good brush and has done all I have asked. No problem with shedding and reasonably soft. I like a stiffer brusn to scrub with and like using this brush. I am glad I bought it and would recommend it to others.

Not the best brush on the market. It is prickly and loses bristles fairly quick, but because of the fact that it really is 100% badger hair and because of the price it is a good brush for beginning wetshavers.Product Review: First Class Shaving Brush

Just used this brush for the first time, also my first shave with a safety razor.
The brush seems fine. It's got a wood handle, its a good size and length and seems to be well made. They aren't really clear but I assume this brush is rated Pure on the Pure/Best/Silvertip scale. So it does what they say it does and is what they say it is.
As i understand a Pure brush is put together and then cut to shape, the result is that at least for the first use the bristles felt a little sharp, or harsh on my face. which I expect will improve with time as I use the brush.
It's probably exactly what you expect, a good beginner brush that let's you experiment with DE shaving without spending a fortune on the nicer brush you will buy later if you stick with it.

This was my first time using a badger brush, one thing I noticed was loose hairs right off the bat, but the more I used it the fewer hairs feel out. I've had this brush for about 3 weeks now and it no longer has the issue of losing hair, I did however have to improve my technique of applying shave soap, anything hard is worth doing.
