My daughter is 10 and has Sever's disease. She doesn't weigh over 55 lbs and the extra small wouldn't fit on her foot at all. They should explain that it is hard to get on and possibly go by shoe-foot size instead of weight. Very disappointed. I had to reorder and pay more shipping to get new ones. This runs very small. This heel support was so tight I couldn't get in on the foot of my 9 year old daughter weighing 52lbs wearing size 6-7 girls clothes. I can't imagine this fitting up to 70lbs. The product otherwise is built well and looks like it would work very well if it fit.Product Review: good for gymnastics but...

My daughter practices gymnastics 16 hours a week and needed the additional heel support as she is growing and experiences pain off and on. The Cheetah heel works well but after about nine months of use the plastic heal has cracked off and she is no longer able to use it. Also it needs to be washed frequently as it gets very smelly!Product Review: relieved heel pain

I ordered these as soon as my 10 yr old gymnast complained of heel pain. I am aware of Severs disease and did not want to hesitate to take action. They arrived within a few days and were a great relief. No more painful heels and the bonus of shoe-cup shock-absorbers was also very useful!
