I used it after I got hurt on my knee. Good quality and easy to use. Retained cooling for a good while. I added the "But" in the title for people who looking at the cover photo might think that you can wrap in it and walk. Though the velcro is great it is not designed to walk. It will slide off your leg. I am sure it will stay on your upper arm or back etc.
BOTTOM LINE: Good quality product that covers a large surface area and can be used with or without the outside blue wrapper. It is as good as anything you buy in a drugstore.
