Product Review: We will not fly overseas again without this pillow!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought these pillows for my husband and I for our trip to Greece. They were great! First of all, the material is very heavy and each person can inflate the pillow to one's own comfortable level. The instructions for inflation are printed right on the pillow. We carried these in our carry on backpacks but just prior to boarding we transferred them to a recylable bag along with our glasses, suduko book, pen, handiwipes, and slippers. We were able to stow our backpacks in the overhead compartment and have all the little things we could need at our finger tips. The pillows inflate very easily. The nozzle is very simple to use without the usual annoying escaping air. Depending upon the pillow's placement, the upper portion of the pillow nicely cradles your head. We were both able to sleep rather than the usual squirming around and cat napping. At the end of the flight, it is simple to release the air and fold the pillow up. There is a case but the pillow folds easily and we found we did not use the case. I would recommend these pillows to anyone who has long distance flights and wants to get some sleep. I regretted not buying them sooner!

Product Review: Well, it works for like the first hour....
Summary: 2 Stars

I can never sleep on planes, so I have tried a ton of these devices. None of them work really well.

This one I had promise for, as it actually does work, well for the first hour. I managed to fall asleep, but then with the way your butt sits on the seat with your legs out stretched, it limits blood flow to the legs and butt and soon you are awake due to discomfort / numb butt and legs.

If you have a really big butt, you might not notice as much.

After my first hour in this position, I could not get comfortable in it again.

Darn it!

Product Review: a few more ideas for comfortable flights
Summary: 4 Stars

First Class Sleeper definitely helped me rest more comfortably while flying on a trans-Atlantic vacation. I don't take it for short flights, though, as it takes a while to get adjusted and settled in; if you're only going to be up in the air for a couple of hours, it's not worth the bother.

Definitely get a camping pad as well, particularly if you are short, to prevent pressure at the edge of the seat. And put something you can use a a footrest under the seat in front of you (i.e., a carry-on that you don't mind resting your feet on, rather than your purse or computer case).

The plus side of being vaguely uncomfortable on long flights is moving around more, so don't let your increased comfort make you forget to exercise your legs to prevent swelling.

In addition to the standard advice about sleep masks and ear plugs, I also recommend using one of those stick-on disposable heating pads to keep your lower back from getting stiff.

Over-the-ear or behind-the-neck headphones don't work with the First Class Sleeper due to the cushioning/cradling around the neck and head. In-the-ear will block more noise, anyway.

Product Review: first class
Summary: 5 Stars

tried this product on a 3 plane/ 20,000.000 mile airplane trip,
wish I had found it earlier.
really works, could get a good sleep using it and therefore cuts down jet lag dramatically.
blow up to suit how snuggly you want,
fits into carry-on bag, easy to inflate and deflate,

Product Review: it helps but can get very hot
Summary: 3 Stars

This is a great idea, which needs redesigning. It can get very hot against the body, as it is just plastic. A lumbar support with a gel seat and a neck support might be a better choice; I used to fold the neck support downward and use it mainly as a lumbar support, along with a separate inflatable seat. However it did help on very long flights to Korea and HK. It can be better than a plain coach seat...
