Product Review: Avoid if you're over 6 feet tall and want to save 29 bucks
Summary: 1 Stars

Based on the "inventor's" comments that he's a big guy, over 6'2" who had trouble in planes I bought one for a flight to Italy this summer. On the flight over, the seats were so tight, I could not even get my knees far enough under the seat in front of me so I decided not use it. On the flight back, the plane had a bit more room and I gave it a go. I'm 210, and 6'3" with an inseam of 36". If your legs are longer than mine, save yourself money. This might work great if you are my size or taller- if you're in an exit row or first class. I then tried to fold it in half and put it on the tray, but no go- the air just flows to another part of the "sleeper." So I bunched it up against the side of the window and that wasn't much better, the sound of the jet engines was amplified through the plastic. I tried to use it as a lumbar support, but that wasn't much better. I was considering stabbing it with my pen then decided to just give the thing away to a much shorter friend who flies a lot. In retrospect, I am positive I would have slept better if I'd just spent the 29$ for this lump of plastic on liquor from the flight crew. Side notes: The material heats up pretty quickly- if you're using one then maybe stick a blanket between you and the sleeper. If you're a sweater or a drooler, bring a cloth. The tube will whistle loudly when you are deflating it, too, so that might embarrass some people from certain states, like Minnesota and Iowa. It does not take up that much room in your pack, maybe about the size of a big sub sandwich. If you're short, this thing is probably a dream.

Product Review: Best Purchase Ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have arthritis, and airplane seats just hurt. The 1st Class Sleeper was absolutely exactly what I needed for a 15 hour journey. I used about 5-6 breaths, adjusted the volume as necessary through various positions. I was able to shift and adjust my position frequently with ease. I arrived rested and ready to move. The only issue was getting the tube in my face a few times, but that was not a problem. I will not travel without one of these in the future. This is a great product!

Product Review: Bulky and difficult to use
Summary: 2 Stars

Traveling to day is tough. Less elbow room, less leg room, less seat. Combine those things and it makes this product practically unusable. I never even inflated this on the plane. I tried it at home and immediately knew the bottom lumbar support portion would actually be too large for the seat and use up too much space. Not only that, when I tested, I had to inflate standing up as inflating while sitting was cumbersome.

Like any inflatable device, getting all the air out is impossible so then takes up extra space.

I threw it away in Moscow to save room and weight in my bag.

Product Review: Comfortable but can be a hassel
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this to use on long haul flights and it helps me sleep. The pillow distributes air where your back needs it so it's nice and comfy as you sit back to relax. It can be a hassle because you have to squeeze all the air out and fold it just right to fit into the little pouch and that takes time and practice to get it right. the other problem I have with it is that mine whistles as the air is let out and it's embarrassing as people nearby look to see where the noise is coming from. Other than that, it's worked better for me than any other back support or pillow intended for frequent travelers.

Product Review: Didn't work on USAir's tiny seats!
Summary: 1 Stars

I purchased one of these before our flight to Europe and tried it out on various chairs around the house to see if we thought it would work. Seemed like it would, so I ordered another one so we wouldn't have to fight over it on the plane!! Well, we were in economy class on a US Air flight to Spain from Philadelphia - an 8 hour flight. Once in the air, I happily got out the first-class sleeper, easily inflated it with just a few breaths, and gave it to my husband to settle in. There just wasn't enough leg room for my husband to get comfortable - the seat also just seemed too narrow. (He is is just 5'8" and weighs 170 lbs, by the way). With the seat reclining to its max (a whole inch or two), he just couldn't get into the correct position. Luckily for him, he can sleep anywhere, so he scrunched up against the wall and promptly fell asleep. So, I took the first-class sleeper and tried it thinking it might work for me since I'm smaller. By the way, we were in a row with just two seats. Well, I tried everything - inflating, deflating, etc. and it just wasn't working for me either. So, I ended up using it as a lumbar support which did work - but I never could get comfortable. It was so bad, that I upgraded to envoy class for the flight home.
