Customer Review: "Travel SMART" Locks? ...I Don't Think So

I purchased both the Smiley and the Zebra Stripe locks. That way I'd have two different and distinguishable locks. They arrived in 2 separate packages - you know those hard sealed plastic cases that are frustratingly difficult to open - each with their own set of 2 keys.
I'm glad I purchased two because if I didn't I never would have known that the keys are interchangeable.Both set of keys opened either lock! What's up with that? That means that anyone,anywhere with these locks can open any one else's. What good is that?
The only reason I give two stars is because they work okay.They are small enough to fit through the holes at the end of zipper tabs and if you have a double zipper you can lock them together. I guess they could be used by one person for personal things around the house, and with two locks, you'd have four keys. But I wouldn't attach these locks to my luggage or my computer case when traveling.
So now I'll probably try out one of those combination locks where you could make up your own combination.If anyone has any recommendations on those, I'd appreciate your comments here. Thanks.
These little locks are cute,a better size then those little tiny things that usually come with luggage - but hardly a safeguard when traveling -"Travel Smart" locks are stupid... not recommended....Laurie
