I bought this desk for my mother who had some surgery on her leg and needed to keep it elevated in the evenings. This desk was perfect. It was small enough to not be obtrusive, the light was a great bonus and it was comfortable. She uses it to write letters on as well to read and do a few crafty projects. She loves having the extra light as well. If you need a portable desk to do things while you watch tv, it's perfect!Product Review: Great product but....

I love this lapdesk but wish the light was brighter, detachable, and not run on batteries. It would be great if the light could be hooked up to my computer to recharge. It is comfortable to use and just the right size. I would certainly recommend this product to others.Product Review: Happy Lap

I highly recommend this product! The price is right and the quality is superb! I shopped a long time before I found this perfect lapdesk at such a good buy! I use this comfy lapdesk a lot for working with my laptop and writing. It has great ergonomic comfort and has saved me the neckaches and backaches I used to have leaning over tables and stationary desks. The light is really bright and easy to adjust to the perfect angle for any work. When not in use, the light easily folds out of your way. I love this product! As a college strudent, I have limited space in my apartment. This desk does the trick. The only thing I don't like is that the bottom isn't as soft as expected, and it is indented to fit your legs. As a result, it works great and it is extremely comfortable when your feet are on he ground, but it doesn't work well if you want to cross your legs and use the desk.
