I love Naturade Total Soy. But I recently have only been able to obtain the chocolate. I was happy to find vanilla at Amazon. Now I can add my strawberries and bananas to the shake and have a gourmet breakfast. No dairy...Great taste....and fortified with lots of vitamins and minerals. Okay I was a bit skeptical when I decided to stop consuming animal protein and fats and go to a much easy on my stomach plant protein and fats.
For starters this bottle cost $14 from sams club, if you have a sams club in your area, you are better of getting it from there.
Okay the product has Non GMO soy, lactose free and gluten free, which is good..mostly on the non GMO soy..The sugar in this is 15 g of sugar per serving ( 2 scoops/39 grams) The sugar is in form of fructose as opposed to sucrose or glucose among other sugars. You looking to consume about 40g per day on sugar, then use one scoop like I do.
Fructose is the good kind of sugar, the one you get from fruits etc . Fructose is broken down by the body slowly and is converted into SUCROSE and GLYCOGEN. Fructose is often recommended for, and consumed by, people with diabetes mellitus or hypoglycemia, because it has a very low Glycemic Index (GI 23) relative to cane sugar ([...]).
Okay that covered the product has the ABCD etc in vitamins so you are essentially getting what you need in a day.
My advice, I have this with a salad over lunch (home made -cheaper and you know what is in it) and a scoop of soy meal and yes water..you should be good..
Total isoflavones 13-39 mg

I have purchased this product for years. First at a local supermarket chain. When they stopped carrying it, I was pleased to find it on Amazon.
It is an easy way to eat on the go, and be nourished all at once.

I mix it easily with 2% milk by just stirring it with a table spoon. It makes a delicious rich tasting shake and the best part is I buy it at Sam's Club for about half this price.
