I love ginger and became a vegan this year, so I was delighted to discover this flavor in the Tom's line. Natural toothpaste does take some getting used to. I felt like most of the reviewers below did a few months ago. But having now brushed my way through an entire tube of Tom's peppermint baking soda toothpaste, I've lost the longing for intense sweetness that we are trained to expect over years of brushing with artificially sweetned toothpastes. Having overcome the "learning curve," I was ready to enjoy this flavor without being shocked. If you like the taste of ginger, don't hesitate to try this. You will get used to the (positively) different flavor of natural toothpastes within about a week.
