I've used these for abdominal pain due to severe Crohn's disease. While at home, I use an electric heating pad almost constantly, so when we had to go on a long trip, got these and found them to work perfectly - not too much, not too little. Just right! Taped the pad to underwear rather than to my skin, thus avoiding any problems with adhesive or the possibility of too much heat. Works for me. Cannot guarantee the same results for everyone, of course. Just wanted to leave a note for fellow travelers with Crohn's, 'cause it's difficult to live with the rotten disease.
