This is the best pillow I have ever slept on. I have lots of neck and spine issues. I have never been able to sleep on my back and now I am comfortable on my back and extremely comfortable on my side. I can't praise this pillow enough. I have chronic neck pain and have tried most recommended pillows (yes, including Tempurpedic) and several neck rolls inserted with pillows that physical therapists have recommended...none of them relieved pain and allowed for natural sleeping posture. The unique gradual sloping neck support when you are sleeping on your back feels so good at the end of the day, it's almost like a massage. My neck pain, which used to be so bad that I couldn't sleep, has been eased since the very first I used this pillow.
Also, this pillow allows for side-sleeping: the pillow size is based on your shoulder depth, so your neck is not at an unnatural angle that results in pain. The indentations in the side-sleeping sections cradle your jaw so that the pillow is not putting pressure on that joint. Also the side extensions have a small amount of "give" in them, which also relieves pressure on the jaw. Both of these features also make this pillow excellent for people with TMJ problems.
I love this pillow so much that I used a carry-on bag to take it with me on my last business trip because the last time I tried to use the regular hotel pillows, my old pain came back in just one night. I have since bought the travel-size, which I also highly recommend as a more compact companion to this full-size version.

After reading the reviews on this pillow I thought it was my answer, however, once I received the pillow, I was disappointed. It was hard to use, sleeping area for side sleeping is too small and it was too high - I ordered the size indicated for my body size, but it didn't work for me......I've tried just about every type of pillow on the market and still can't seem to find the perfect pillow. I do have six inches of memory foam on my mattress which is wonderful, but have not found the perfect supportive pillow...Product Review: Three Years and loving it!

I have used the therapeutica sleeping pillow for over three years and have loved it. I take it with me everywhere. It takes a little getting used to, but I can't sleep well without it now. I used to struggle with neck and back pain constantly. Since using the pillow, my neck pain is almost completely eliminated, while a change in mattress has helped with the lower back pain.
