Product Reviews of Theraflu Vapor Patch From The Makers Of Theraflu, 6 Count Boxes (Pack of 3)

Product Review: Fabulous and not messy
Summary: 5 Stars

My kids (ages 15 & 11) love the efficacy of Vicks Vaporub but hate the mess and feel of Vicks, even with the lotion versus the ointment. We simply apply these to the outside of their pajamas just below the neck and they get the benefit of the vapor without the mess. They come off cleanly but stay put all night long and do the job. They don't leave a greasy mark on the sheets and the kids don't have to shower to rid themselves of the menthol odor. I'd recommend the patches for kids old enough to know not to take them off (6+?) up to senior citizens and everyone in between. They are also terrific to take on trips just in case someone gets stuffy. Each patch comes individually wrapped so they are thin and neat. The Amazon price was significantly cheaper than my local CVS and Walgreens.

Product Review: Neat Vicks!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Bought this for hubby, who is handicapped, & occasionally develops long-lasting cold. Vapors help his breathing & patch is not messy. Not easy to find locally, & offered at a very good price.

Product Review: Reason Triaminic Took it off the market
Summary: 5 Stars

Triaminic took the vapor patch off the market because parents were putting it on children that were too young to use it. Their crafty hands at such a young age were able to get them off and they were eating them. I had called Triaminic looking for them myself when I could no longer find them. I found the Theraflu patches and called them asking if they were the same as Triaminic and they are. However, they really only recommended using them on children who are 12 and older. My daughter who is almost 8 knows not to eat them. Therefore, I feel comfortable using them on her. My son, who is a little over 2. I have used them but I put them inside his pillow protector which is closed by a zipper and then the pillow is covered with a pillow case that is put in from the opposite end of the zipper. Unless, he's Houdini and can get the pillow case off the of the tightly fit pillow I feel confident using them for him as well. I did find that attaching them to the inside of your shirt as oppposed to directly on your skin as the instructions state makee them much harder to get off. I think that the oil on your skin makes them looser and easier to get off.

Product Review: Theraflu Vapor Patch
Summary: 5 Stars

For many years we used Triaminic Vapor patch to help my son breath at night when he had severe colds. It also helped calming his cough so he could sleep better. Well, all of a sudden, we could no longer find the product because for some reason Triaminic took it off the market. Now we finally found a replacement for it. The Theraflu Vapor Patch, which works just as well, so we stocked up on it just in case. I hope Theraflu will continue making this great alternative to drugs that need to be administered to the child.
