These drops are THE BEST for chronic severe dry eye. Instant relief and it lasts; better than any other (many) drops I've tried that were a waste of money. Highly recommended these! I had Lasik surgery a week ago, and after being back in the office for a few days (with fluorescent lights, staring at a computer screen all day) my eyes really started to feel dry and the drops I was using weren't doing anything. (I had been using the Optive Sensitive preservative free eye drops.) I tried a couple different brands, and this is the one that BY FAR helped the most. The box describes the drops as a gel but it's not what you'd normally think of as a gel in terms of consistency - it must be thicker than normal drops, though, because it kind of sticks to your eyes at first. When you first put them in the drops seem to almost make your eyes feel drier, I think because the gel kind of glues to your eyes initially. This allows it to really coat your eye and moisturize it without immediately being washed away or evaporating. It takes a couple minutes for your vision to clear, and it does leave more of a crust in your lashes than other drops, but when your vision does clear up your eyes will feel so much better. On top of which, I didn't have to keep putting drops in my eyes every 10 minutes. The vials are also bigger than any other single-use vials I've seen so I don't go through them as quickly. Each set of vials (I think it's like 4 or 5 stuck together) are in a cellophane wrapper inside the box to preserve freshness.
So to sum up, these drops feel funny at first and take a while to clear, but if your eyes are really feeling dry this is the product that will make them feel better. Whether they're for you will depend entirely on your personal situation. I'm a huge fan, though!

This product does a great job of lubricating and refreshing dry eyes. I can wait 4 hours before needing any other drops or having my eyes feel dry. These are preservative free and will not irritate your eyes. Each dose is individual so I can carry a dose in my pocket and use it when I am ready and not worry about infection from the dropper.Product Review: Thera Tears Liquid Gel

this product should only be used at bedtime, it's fantastic for overnite, but it does blur your vision
my eyes felt great the next morning. it didn't burn or irritate my eyes. I would highly recommend this
product for anyone with dry eyes, I have tried alot of other brands. this was the best
