I bought this watch for my mother who is in her 70's. The goal was for this to wake her at night so that she would not forget her medications. Unfortunately, the volume of the watch alarm is not adjustable and if her arm is underneath a blanket, the alarm does not wake her up. Based upon other reviews, we are not the only ones that have found this an issue. The manufacturer should take this into consideration and have a volume adjustment on it.
Otherwise, the watch works well.

The e-pill Cadex is a patented watch with twelve daily auto-repeating reminders. Easy to set, easy to use. Popular with Alzheimer's, Diabetes, Parkinson's, Epilepsy, Asthma and HIV/Aids patients or anyone who needs a little help remembering to take medications. At the scheduled time every day, the watch will beep and display the name of the medication to be taken(using the optional built-in Text Alarm you set). A snooze (Medical Snooze) feature allows you to turn off the initial beeping and continue to be reminded with a subtle double beep every three minutes until you have taken your medication. This e-pill medication reminder will nag you until you have taken your pills. The initial alarm goes for 60 seconds with the reminder beep for up to 4 hours. Of course, you may choose to turn it off at any point along the way.
