Product Review: The Ultimate Meal Absolutely!
Summary: 5 Stars

Just received my package it arrived the very next day. I'm happy to say that i really feel the difference. i mixed it with chilled water, almond milk, pineapple juice. I've tried many different varieties, nothing balances my blood sugar better than this. i always have problems with blood sugar especially after exercise. Just follow the directions on the can and remember to drink plenty of water. I wish all of you the best in meeting your nutritional goals.

Product Review: The Ultimate Meal is a keeper for me!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought the small (10 meals) canister last week because, although the product sounded wonderful with all it's nutritional ingredients; I was a little afraid of what it would taste like. I had read many of the reviews here that spoke of it being highly unpalatable, so I was apprehensive.

I am happy to report that it actually tastes good to me. I followed the recipe instructions on the can (I used 1 banana, half an apple, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, and 10 ozs. water), and I've even had the meal sans blueberies because I ran out and it still tasted good. This morning, I had it with 1 banana a kiwi and water only and I had no problem getting it down. Maybe my palate is already accustomed to the "green" taste of the shake since I do try to eat a lot of raw greens -I'm not sure.

I've been having it mainly for breakfast, and a couple of times for lunch and dinner, and each time I have one of the meals I feel so energized afterwards; but not in a jumpy way. It's a very even energy and and there's no sudden drop in energy like you get with some other meals - it's even helped to curb my afternoon sweet tooth cravings.

Next time I buy it I will buy the large (30 meal) canister since I've now experienced the power of pure nutrition and I'm hooked! I also read over the website a couple of times and Sam seems genuinely passionate about delivering a superior nutritional meal replacement. He gives a lot of explanation about why he included certain ingredients and how they will benefit the body.

Product Review: The Ultimate Meal is nutrional powerhouse & versatile
Summary: 5 Stars

All other reviews I read are right on about the geninue quality of this product. These ingredients are in a class all by themselves, as the developer and company intended. They saw the niche & went for it. This product is a nutrional powerhouse & fulfills "niches" that your diet or other supplements may leave unaccounted for - - and in a food format. This is why it has "Meal" is in it's title. This is also (probable) reason why people full satisfied after consuming. Versatile if you think about it: Stir a couple of scoops into your favorite, high quality (organic) yogurt or kefir product. I make my own simple salad dressings, such as organic olive oil and lemon juice. Guess what? This product can blend into a salad dressing because this product is neutral and NOT sweet, which is a god-send. To be honest, I think alot of whole food based products take the cop-out by putting a high sugar content into it for taste purpose. Who doesn't like sweet - right? That's the old way of thinking. The makers of this product are providing an open doorway for you to explore other uses. I've been known to stir some into my (gluten free) hot cereal in the morning right before eating (I don't cook it nor heat it up to perserve enzyme & probiotic benefits, though you could put some into a muffin batter for the nutritional value. I call this cross training with your good products.)
My examples are not meant to be on the go, like the company's drink suggestion that is more on the go, but rather ways for you to realize that ready-to-go products can serve more than one purpose "recipe wise". Enjoy.

Product Review: The Vitamin Shoppe can be misleading
Summary: 3 Stars

I give it 3 stars, not because the product itself is bad, but because of the level of service I received from the The Vitamin Shoppe. First of all, The Vitamin Shoppe did a poor job at packaging my order, and as we all know, the guys at UPS play soccer or something with the boxes... at any rate, the container was obliterated when I received it and the contents were sparsed all over the inside of the box. I called the service department at The Vitamin Shoppe and did not get anywhere with the teenager that took my report. So I had to drive twenty miles to a nearby town to get my item exchanged at a The Vitamin Shoppe store (something I should have done in the first place). This actually burned half of my day. I contacted one of the supervisors at The Vitamin Shoppe service department and he assured me I would receive a discount on my next purchase to make up for the inconvenience, which I have since then placed and never received the so called discount. I hope this review will help you in deciding whether you want to do business with The Vitamin Shoppe or their competition.

Product Review: The best supplement I've found yet
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm 51 years old and travel a lot in my job, which is hard on my body. For the past four months, I've been using Ultimate Meal daily when at home (it's my breakfast), and sometimes twice daily. Usually by this time of year I am burned out from all the travel, but not this year. I feel healthier than in a long time.

I've tried a lot of products, and I consider this one to be far the best. In fact, I've pretty much stopped taking any other supplements --- I just don't feel they're needed anymore. True, it's expensive, but I save money by not buying other supplements. A few bucks a day isn't much, relative to what I spend on other things. As far as the taste, I like it just fine. Some compare it to pea soup, but that's not totally accurate; I don't like pea soup but I like Ultimate Meal.

I was turned on to this product by a friend who is a health fanatic and has literally researched and tried everything, at any price. He finally settled on Ultimate Meal as his only supplement and he's been using it for about two years now. For what it's worth, he told me that on many days he eats nothing but Ultimate Meal shakes because it gives him all the nutrition he needs. And he looks and feels great.

As of this writing, the shipping is free if you order two cans, and there's no sales tax, so that helps defray some of the cost. I notice that there has been a recent price increase, though. Oh well!
