I purchased the Stealth Secret Sound Amplifier even though some reviews said it was hard to keep in the ear. I should have believed them. Even sitting without movement, the unit would not stay in.
Using it by holding it in only gave a lot of static with any sound amplification obscured by the static. It cannot be returned without an "RA" number which I requested online per the instructions. It has been almost a month without any reply.
I also requested a response to my request for a return authorization through Amozon.com - but still no reply - only e-mail offers for other products.
Purchaser was "Allegro Medical". Stay away from them.

I am surprised to read negative reviews of this product. For me, it works great and is well worth the price. I use it every day, and I really like the rechargable factor. I would absolutely recommend it and would buy it again. On rare occasions, there is a little static, but it is short lived and clears up quickly. Someone told me that it may have something to do with being a wireless device, and occasional interference from other wireless devices in my apartment building is to be expected. The Stealth Secret Sound Amplifer won't stay on my ear. It isn't as effective as a cheaper brand which I purchased and that one sounds tinny. I've lost a bit of hearing and needed the amplification to take notes at meetings. It isn't that great.Product Review: Feedback and more Feedback

To be honest the item description sounded too good to be true and as with most cases that was exactly the case. I purchased these for my grandmother who has trouble hearing the TV unless it's cranked up to a volume level that would make any normal persons ears bleed. The item came in a generic box but it did not feel cheap in anyway so I was at first very impressed. It took about two hours to charge and of course I wanted to try them out first before handing them over to grandma. Unit comes with three different sized ear plugs so fitting it was not a problem the problem was everything and I mean everything is amped to the max. I actually started breathing wrong; I was hyperventilating because I could hear every one of my breaths echoing through my ears, not to mention that simple movements would amplify the sound of my clothing rubbing together. Still I was going to let the real tester try it on and see but as expected the same results, including, for her at least, terrible feedback. I could not replicate the feedback while I was wearing the headset nor could I isolate for her so I just gave up. Suffice it to say its on its way back to Amazon as a return, my actual first ever return for an item purchased from Amazon so that tells you something. Run, don't hide from this product.
