I primarily purchased this unit to be able to listen to a TV at night when traveling while my husband slept. The unit did as it was purported to do, pick up sound, all too well. All sound in the room was amplified, not just the TV. So having an AC turned on, a fan, or a heater, would just come through loud and clear and muffle the TV. On the up side, Amazon, refunded my money with no hestitation when I returned the unit. Thank you Amazon!Product Review: Disappointed

I bought this mainly as an aid for watching television. Unfortunately, it falls far short of my expectations. While it does magnify the sound coming from the television, it also greaty magnifies nearby sounds to the point where the television can not be heard. I can not set it at full amplification because of the high pitched feedback that results. Finally, none of the supplied ear pieces fit into my ear very well, so I'm forced to constantly press the unit against my ear in order to hear the television well. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because I can hear the television better with it than without it, but it's not a very enjoyable experience.Product Review: Does not perform well

I was very disappointed with the performance of this device. The wire that bends around the ear and the ear bud itself are hard to keep in place. The range was not very good and the device has to be pointed towards the direction of the sound. When only 10 yards away or less with the volume turned all the way up it would function but then there was a lot of echo. I returned the device for a refund.Product Review: Does not work

I bought this device to listen to radio and tv without disturbing others in the house. This is a far cry from the advertised claim. All you get is static. Just a useless thing
