Product Review: Better than my expensive hearing aid!

Just received the Stealth Secret Sound hearing amplifier today. I'm delighted with this product. It works much better for me than my expensive hearing aid which whistles constantly and is uncomfortable too. If you have moderate hearing loss and want to hear family members and TV with more clarity, I recommend this device.
The quality is excellent and I love that it is rechargeable. The fact that it looks like a hi-tech phone is a plus, especially since I'm a grandfather in my 80's. My grandkids now think I look "cool." They think it's even cooler that I can hear what they're saying now.

The Stealth Secret Sound Amplifier - does just what it advertises. It amplifies - all incoming sound. This did not bother me personally (as it might bother other folk).
I have now been testing the Stealth for 4 days. It seems to work okay, on anything within 25 feet or so. I found that it is not possible - to turn the volume all the way up. At full-volume, the amplifier then gets feedback from itself - and will put out a pretty good whistle.
Good uses: tv-watching, conversations with a small group, and even outside use, working in the yard.
Area for improvement: making the unit even slightly smaller - would appeal to a lot of people.
The ear-hanger works fine, but it would be nice to see the ear-hanger - made slightly stronger.
A nice-plus: the Stealth is certainly smaller than the dual-earphone and amplifier-box products.
Also: the built-in rechargeable battery is a plus (not always buying batteries).
A decent-product at a fair-price.
It will serve okay - until I can afford the $4000-cost, of the hearing-aids recommended by my doctor.
(Also: Amazon delivered the product, in a timely fashion.)

This produce was defective, but glad I made the buy through Amazon. They are awesome! I bought this to watch late night TV with. It failed to charge at all. I am sending it straight back. Thank you Amazon for quick return/refund service! I would not buy any of this "as seen on TV" stuff through any website but Amazon.Product Review: Cheaper than other sites

I had originally saw this in a local Sunday paper advertisement. I paid the MSRP of $39.95 PLUS shipping of $5.95 and expedited shipping *so I could have it sooner* of another $6.50. Anyway, one week went by and on the second week I emailed them with no reply. I called them and they said that they was going thru inventory and would be shipped out within a few weeks. I got my money refunded for the expedited shipping and now awaiting for my refund. I got the same item from Amazon within 2 days.
The pro's is: I like the rechargeable battery feature and it does work!
The con's is: After it has recharged, within a few hours there is static and increases. This however stops if you turn the Stealth off for a 5-10 min. Turn it back on and it will be static free for another 20 min.
I noticed that this only happens on a newly recharge. After the charge runs down a little it doesn't happen that frequently.
