Product Review: Weird to Get Used to, but I LOVE it now that I have

First thing that I would say about getting a moon cup: make sure that you are REALLY comfortable with yourself, because you're going to have to be very hands on to get this in and out. If that doesn't bother you, then I highly recommend getting one. I can't say how it compares to other menstrual cups, but I really love it now that I'm used to it.
And yes, getting used to it is tricky. At first, it drove me crazy: the stem was too long, I couldn't get it to stay in place, and it bugged me when I sat down because I could feel it. It's also somewhat challenging to figure out the best way to put it in and take it out.
It took me two cycles to feel comfortable with it in, and use it right so it didn't leak, but now that I'm used to it I would never go back to tampons and pads. I really do forget that it's there, and since you don't have to worry about TSS you can leave it in there pretty much all day. I highly recommend getting one.
