Product Review: My best purchase of the year!

I've been in physical therapy for over 2 years for a rhomboid injury that's left me with a snapping scapula and a knot that is usually impossible to pin b/c it will move under my shoulder blade. This little guy has been an absolute lifesaver for both me and my boyfriend who has several knots of his own. I'm not going to say I'm completely pain-free, but this is miles from when I was rolling around on the floor with a lax ball! For the money, it's definitely paid for itself. However, it's best used with a partner, as I've had difficulty pinning knots on my own with it due to the domed base.Product Review: Nice little massage tool

The Knobble is a simple little massaging device. Directions show that the pointed end can be used to self-pressure tension points in the back. Both ends, though, are usable for massage, and it makes a nice little tool to use on someone else.
The whole device is well curved - no sharp edges anywhere. It is perfectly sized for use.
There is a rubber strip running around the circumference of the "flat" end. The directions suggest that this can be used for friction. The only reason this only gets 4 instead of a perfect 5 is that this strip is a little wide, and it's a little too easy to be trying to walk the "wide" side down somebody only to catch the rubber strip and throw off the rhythm.
I haven't tried it with oil or other lubrication yet, but I intend to.
That shouldn't stop anyone less than a professional from picking this up. (And I suspect even professionals would be able to use it well.) My only regret is that I didn't pick up two of them. ;)

This is a great product for massaging and applying pressure to deep tissue. My wife has disc problems and needs frequent back and neck massages to relieve pain and soreness. There are certain spots that she needs hard pressure applied and it used to be hard on my thumbs and fingers. With the Knobble II, I can apply all the pressure she needs without much effort and no more sore fingers. I highly recommend this product.
