Product Reviews of The Journey to Wild Divine Biofeedback Software & Hardware for PC & Mac: The PassageProduct Review: Biofeeback Peaceful Fun and Knowledge!! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a fascinating game. Not your typical kill, kill, kill computer game. It's a game that very effectively shows you how to control involuntary body functions. Through a series of biofeedback challenges, you move on to discover more, and more about this mystical land called the Sun Realm. Some of the biofeedback challenges are very difficult and others are easy. That, however, may be just a personal evaluation. Meaning, easy things for me, might be difficult for someone else and vice a versa.
I have had the game for about 30 days and have completed all the tasks and in doing so have learned a lot about biofeedback and how I can help myself relax in normal everyday stressful situations. Though the game is expensive, it's worth it. I would buy it again! I fully encourage anyone who is interested in biofeedback to buy this game.

Product Review: Biofeedback (+) - "Divine" - (?) Summary: 5 Stars
I expect good things to happen to me from using biobeedback to calm my nerves, and the method holds my interest. I am a little put off by the "Wild Diving" aspect, but we'll see --
Product Review: Bliss Summary: 3 Stars
Easy to install. Web support a bit difficult. Great new technology. A bit expensive. To use it properly you need time as it is based on meditation. Not for fast action gamers, more for if you want to relax and do self help.
Product Review: Buggy software Summary: 1 Stars
If you are looking for stress relief, best thing to do is keep on walking.
Installation is a nightmare. You can't tell if it is installing or not. Only thing you can do is wait !5 to 20 minutes, and if nothing happens, start cd again. Once installed, a lot of white screens, and choppy sound
"Magic rings" slip off fingers easily (maybe not made for size 13 ring finger)
Also purchased "Wisdom Quest" Once again, sound buggy, Doesn't match up with "Buddha guy's" lip movement. Like watching a bad Kung Fu movie
Pressed "escape" multiple times, and wouldn't stop until it was finished.
The best stress relief was putting it back in the box
Don't waste your time or money
Product Review: Disappointing Summary: 2 Stars
As a commercial software designer (i.e. geek) studying vipassana meditation for a couple of years, I thought Journey to the Wild Divine would be perfect for me. I was intrigued by having biofeeedback accompanied by interactive teaching of Eastern breathing exercises but the product just didn't deliver.
First, the lightstone monitor isn't the most comfortable thing to wear so it begins to distract from the mental exercises.
Second, the game itself is frustrating in many ways. Unlike pure role playing/adventure games, the continuity in the screens and the stories is lacking. This makes it frustrating to figure out where to go next. And if you've just had a lousy day and just want to de-stress, it's tough to have to jump through goofy hoops and listen to the accented new agey wisdom when you want to relax. Unfortunately, a less enlightened shoot-em-up game often seems to do the trick better.
Finally, the game's poor performance made it tough to stick with. Screens can take a while to load and the dramatic music can be repetitively exhausting.
Overall, I'm thrilled that someone is venturing into the biofeedback game space with a title that explores different mental training techniques. But, the execution on this title just wasn't enough to keep me playing. The new agey teachings/voices/music seemed to be poorly thought out and not steeped in any accepted traditions. The experience itself seemed like they were trying hard but I just couldn't reach any kind of peace with it.
Anyway, a good meditation/dharma book (or 10 of them for the current price) would have been a better use of my money.
