This roller is great! It works well and doesn't make noise like some reviews stated above. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because the massaging fingers are a little bit hard. I find this a little uncomfortable to use, but it does help relieve the pain I have from my plantar fascitis, so that is worth a little temporary discomfort. Nothing else I have tried except visits to a physical therapist has helped in the slightest, so I consider this a worthwhile purchase.Product Review: nice little massager

If you have sensitive feet, this roller may not be for you. This plastic nubs on this roller are not soft and flexible as stated. Like one of the other reviews, it is a little uncomfortable to use. Perhaps "The Happy Company Therapeutic Foot and Body Roller" may work better.Product Review: sturdy and effective

This works great! One can alternate how intense it feels by sock thickness and how much pressure you apply.
