I had previously used a motorized 'circle' foot massager which worked fine, but you had to be careful about the amount of pressure you put down on the massager or it would 'lag'. This is great because your chosen preference for foot pressure upon the massager is what makes it work! The 'tines' feel great against the feet and really stimulate the sore spots. I like it. I've never written a review and this item inspired me to do so. I've been sitting at work rolling my feet all day and its heavenly. It helps the balls of my feet, the arch, AND the heel. I thought all the spiky things could hurt or be too intense but they are fabulous! I wear a size 7.5 women's shoe and I can fit both feet nicely. You can either gently roll them across or put some pressure on it and dig right into those sore muscles. I love foot massages and I would highly recommend this product. I spotted this gem, and immediately read the reviews. I've had plantar fasciitis for over a year, and am on the mend, however still get foot pain in both feet. After reading the reviews I bought 1 for me and 1 for my elderly mother that had foot surgery in late March.
We both LOVE our roller! I wear a size 9 1/2 wide women's shoe and both my feet fit on the unit at the same time. It's great, you can put it next to your couch while you watch tv and roll, roll, roll.
My right foot is my most painful, and I find that there is a underlying sore spot just above the bottom of my heal. I can position my foot so that the roller digs in and massages that sore spot, making it less sore. My feet feel much better! I absolutely LOVE this foot roller!
My mother uses it to help with circulation in her foot to enhance her healing. She can tell a difference too. Your feet feel renewed, just after a few minutes of rolling.
If you have any feet issues, trust me and get one of these gems, it will be money well spent!

Mine broke the first day. I don't think I was being rough with it. I was just sitting on the couch and had one foot on the massager and was only applying a little pressure. Now I am 6' 2" and 190 lbs, so your mileage may vary. It does feel great, so instead of returning it I'm going to replace the 1/4" wood dowels the rollers are mounted on with steel rods.
