all you'll need really is the hair brush and the piles. the clipper is not easy to use, I bought the safety grip nail clipper separately.Product Review: useless extras

Some of the items here are ok but there are a lot of useless items. You'l never use the rattle, medicine spoons (dropper already in any medicine you buy), and the clippers. The nasal aspirator is ok because it has the release valve, good for cleaning. I also use the thermometer, which is nice and small for rectal temps.Product Review: Useful, but not great quality
