Product Review: Good Gag Gift or Gag in General Summary: 5 Stars
I hooked one of these to the lights in my bosses office...it took him all day to figure it out. I set it to high sensitivity and his lights were flashing on and off all day long. It was a whole lot of fun!
Product Review: Good Product - Has Some Kinks to Work Out Summary: 5 Stars
This item was exactly as described in the item description. It was in the original packaging and is in excellent condition. I highly recommend this seller to everyone. The product is a good one, however it has some kinks that need to be worked out. Any noise that you make (closing a door, any loud noise) will trigger the clapper. I found the lights going on and off every time I moved something or closed a door in my house. It is a little too sensative and needs a little work, however it does do what it was desgined to do - just a little too much!
Product Review: Good product Summary: 5 Stars
My room has no light switch, no idea what developer decided that one. So I had to stumble across a darkened room to find the lamp. Now I can just clap on clap off. It also has a nice feature of being able to switch on 2 appliances one with 2 claps the other with 3. Had a small problem at the start that it would turn on and off by itself, but I just turned down the sensitivity (small switch on the side) and its now fine.
Product Review: Great for Christmas tree lights!!! Summary: 4 Stars
We got a Clapper as a white elephant Christmas gift 6 years ago. I brought it home and plugged our Christmas tree lights into it and we've been using it annually ever since. It is great for that purpose! I've seen remote controlled light switches for Christmas trees lately, but when you have kids around it is a guarantee that you will lose the remote. It is also great fun to see our preschoolers trying to clap on/clap off our tree...as well as all the (non-Clapper) trees at our friends' houses. The only negative is it can be tricky to adjust the sensitivity so the clapper works for your claps but not, say, the sound of the dog jumping off the sofa onto the wood floor.
