not a bad thermometer to keep handy. Used it for work. It takes a little used to but it's worth its price...Product Review: readings are inconsistent and inaccurate.

This thermometer gives very inconsistent and inaccurate readings. The difference sometimes could be over 1 degree Fahrenheit. The ear reading is always lower than the rectal reading but they are supposed to be the same. It gave me a headache when my daughter was sick last week. I couldn't take a correct temperature. I took several readings from both ears and they were all different. When I took my daughter to see the pediatrician, they took her temperature by ear at the clinic. Then I used mine to measure again immediately. My reading was almost 2 degrees lower than theirs. That was too off. I am not going to keep it and will order a Braun. Don't waste your money on it. Go for a better one even it is more expensive.Product Review: very pleased

very fast shipping. thermometer very reasonably priced and the temp you can scan the forhead and the ear. I think the ear is accurate more so than the forehead. But overall I love the item I bought.Product Review: worth the money

I like that you can do ear or forehead. The forehead use is much easier for a 10 month old to be still enough for. The only thing I don't like is it only shows military time.
