Product Review: I purchased these after seeing them demonstrated in the ER.

My elderly mother has very thin skin and had gashed her leg. She went to the ER twice for this injury. The initial visit was when she first gashed her shin. I took her back a couple of weeks later when she tore her skin removing a standard adhesive bandages as part of the wound care for her original injury. The glue on the off the shelf adhesive bandages were so strong that when she tugged, my poor mother tore her skin. It was a triangular tear about 2" on each side and it was heartbreaking to view it. Sadly, her skin is so thin that it could not be stitched and I worried greatly about her having more problems. Luckily, the nurse suggested this exact brand of bandage and we have had wonderful results. My mother now carries these in her person and I cannot recommend them highly enough for someone with thin skin. They go on easily and will remove with a little rubbing. My mother does not report that the come off easily and they have helped her heal.Product Review: Quality Tegaderm

I was very pleased with the Tegaderm. I have a child that is disabled that has a sore and picks at it until it is bloody. We get concerned about the possibility of infection. We have found that by putting a bit of salve, etc on the wound and then covering it with the tegaderm he is not picking at it. The tegaderm covering gives somewhat when he tries to pick at it so it discourages him from continuing that habit. It has worked very, very well, and the price was a godsend compared to what we would have had to pay at a medical store. Thank You, Thank You.Product Review: THIS STUFF IS GREAT!!

I work for a hospital and can tell you that this product is alot better than bandages. i wash my hands at least 20 times a day at work and with this on you can be at ease that your cut wont get wet or even better you wont have to change it like normal bandaids after wet. sometimes i forget that i have the film on,its so comfortable and thin. i highly recommend this product!!Product Review: Tegaderm patches

My mother is almost 80 yrs old. She suffers from Lewybody Dementia and falls alot. Her skin is so thin and fryable it tears with almost every fall. Normal bandaids rip her skin, especially when she decides to pull them off! These cover nicely and do not tear her skin when they are removed.
