I was ecstatic when found these teething tablets. My son had been crying and sleepless for days. I was beside myself. A friend recommended them. He was crying in my lap, and when I put them in his mouth he literally turned his head and fell asleep. I was stunned. I made sure I had a bottle in my purse at all times. A lot of people in the natural health arena say that God created arnica to make people believe in homeopathic remedies, but for me it was teething tablets.
I would later go on to find that the main ingredient in teething tablets is chamomile. This is the prime remedy by homeopaths for teething. It is also for children that are simply beside themselves, just absolutely miserable. I always carry a bottle in my purse, and of course arnica for bumps and bruises. One day when my 2 year old was having his worst melt down ever, I took some to keep my calm, then pried his mouth open and gave him some. Five minutes later we were eating breakfast in the restaurant with my father.
If you're a new parent I also recommend you become informed on the vaccine debate. There are many good resources, if you like DVD's I recommend both Vaccines: What CDC Documents and Science Reveal which is long, but worth it. If you like books I recommend Vaccines: Are They Really Safe and Effective.
