Product Reviews of Teething Tablets ( 125 Tabs ) HylandsProduct Review: WORKS LIKE A DREAM! Summary: 5 StarsTeething Tabs work like a dream we used them with our daughter and never had to give her motrin or tylenol. She would be fussing from teething pain and withing a couple of giving her the teetihg tabs she was settled down.
Don't listen to all the fear mongering! I don't know what is wrong with people they just jump on a 'this is bad' bandwagon without knowing anything. Some urban legend is going around and freaking out parents but once you look into it the 'facts' are ridiculous (and untrue).
This IS TOTALLY a FDA regulated product and 100% safe. Please look into the facts yourself. Check out Hyland's homepage to verify their testing and regulation. I don't work for them I just hate to see a good company run through the mud because people online have decided to get up in arms with NO real facts.
You should feel safe giving these to your kids. Your child is much less likely to have a bad reaction to this than they are to the dye found in OTC children's pain meds.
Product Review: Works great Summary: 5 StarsITA with this ------> The amount of belladonna used in these remedies is NOT life-threatening at all. The teething tablets remedy contains 0.0000003% Alkaloids of belladonna. Your child could eat the whole bottle and chances are, have zero side effects. (Of course I'm not recommending anyone feed an entire bottle to their child just to see, but you get my drift.)
Other OTC drugs, like Tylenol can damage the liver if OD on, Motrin can cause an allergic reaction that can make your face swell (I can't take it).
It sounds like uninformed alarmism to me. Homeopathic remedies are among the safest forms of medication. I use all sorts of these remedies. Thank you, Hyland's.
Product Review: These CAN be deadly to a young child...Not worth the risk...Use Motrin intstead. Summary: 1 StarsChances are your child will do fine with these...but they are not regulated by the FDA and the does of belladonna in these teething tablets can sometimes be high enough to kill a baby. There is supposed to be something like .003% in each dose. But during a recent test of these pills by a hospital that treated a baby "poisoned" from these very tablets found some of the tablets to contain up to 1000% of this poisonous herb. These ARE NOT safe for babies! The tablet your baby takes today could be fine, but the tablet they take tomorrow could very well have 1000% of belladonna in it...possibly causing death.
Product Review: POISEN FOR BABIES... Summary: 1 Starsis what it should say!!! My friend just came home from from the er with her son who was diagnosed with belladonna poisening from them after episodes of seizures. They are not controlled by the fda and are toxic. Give your baby a hug and a teething ring instead.
Product Review: still teething Summary: 5 Stars
My 21 month old is still teething. These tables were recommend to me from a kindly Christian home school mother of eleven. If they were good enough for her eleven they are good enough for my young one.
