I was sold on this product until I used it. It does not help poison ivy outbreaks at all. It does NOT shorten its rash life. It does NOT reduce itching. It does NOT reduce rash life. This product is good for nothing except emptying your wallet.Product Review: works!

I got into some poison oak and meant to wash it off when I got home, but I forgot... until I broke out. I kept thinking I could just wait it out, but after scratching myself to death, I researched treatments on the internet and found this. It does NOT instantly cure the rash or make it go away so if that's what you're hoping for, you'll be disappointed. But it does relieve the itching and considerably diminish the inflammation.
I used the Tecnu as directed, then rubbed Neosporin on the worst places. In less than 24 hours I can see a huge reduction in the swelling & redness. I still have welts but they're quite bearable. The raw places are healing.
I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with poison oak.
