I bought the scale because of it's retro look and the advertized precision mechanism. I use it, but I don't like it. It is bigger than my bathroom (so it resides under my bed), and the weight varies by about 6 lbs. I usually stand on it about 4 times and take an average in my head... okay, I take the low number. So what! Afterall, it's not that low.

This is not the typical large dial scale. The Pro Helix by Taylor features an oversized dial, the extra foot space and is the most accurate. The 7 5/8 diameter dial is large enough to read from a distance ¿ no bending over the scale to see the weight reading. Includes five color-coded WeightTrackers® to monitor weight progress. The platform is large enough to accommodate even large feet. Taylor wanted to make a scale that was precise, and the patented mechanism is so sensitive to even the least movement ¿ including your heart beat! Because of the sensitive nature of this scale, you must stand still to get a solid measurement, but it is fast so the wait time is minimal. Weighs up to 330 lbs in 1 lb increments. White solid steel base, black mat, bright red pointer and bright chrome bezel. 5 year warranty.
