This item is very simple to use and very accurate. Weighted all my suit cases before leaving and at the Airport scales each one weighted in at the whole pound value. This is easy to use. We had another one that hung on the doorknob that we just couldn't get to work and was not accurate.
This one is extremely simple and you only have to lift the bag a few inches off the ground. This is great for those of us with very weak arms. We weighed two bags in our hotel room, then brought them to the hotel lobby for airline check in. The weight on their scale was identical!
Snap it on the handle, push the button, lift the luggage, wait for the beep, set the luggage down, and you have your weight.

The things works great its just that the battery dies all the time. Ive gone through two batteries in only a few uses. I think if you take a strip of paper and wrap it around the battery when you arent going to use it for a while (so the battery cannot operate the device) it will help with this problem. I've tried three other luggage scales and the Taylor #8120 is THE best. It's smaller, lighter weight, super accurate and easy to read. Just lift the luggage slightly off the floor; it beeps when the weight is read, and then holds the weight until you clear it. When packing it, it's very easy to turn the battery around so the scale doesn't get turned on by accident. Absolutely... this is THE one!

This is the best luggage scale I have seen. Really easy to use and light enough and small enough to put in your luggage and take along.This can save you the price of the scale on one trip.
