Paid $29.00 for this thing. The scale worked ok for a few months then we had to change the battery. About every month after that the battery would die and, we only used it a couple of times per week. We replaced the battery with the same kind it came with CR2032. It gets expensive paying $5.00 for a battery every month. If you do decide to throw your money away buying this scale make sure you take the battery out after each use. I am totally disappointed.Product Review: works as advertised

This scale works as expected. Seems to be pretty consistent. Comes on quickly when you step on. I like that you don't have to turn it on, and wait for it to calibrate. The only reason It's not 5 stars is I wish the LCD screen was backlit so you could see it easier in the early morning light!

My scale was waiting for me this morning in 8 degF weather. It did not work until it warmed up. I don't believe that a .2 pound variation in a 176 pound measurement is enough to disqualify it. So long as it works as well as the last 5-6 measurements, I can give it a good rating. I seldom rate anything with a 5. Sad that some have had problems. If it doesn't work right, try exchanging at least once. After that, return for a refund.
