We bought one of these about 5 years ago. Two weeks ago it stopped working, and a new lithium battery didn't fix it. I followed the instructions for returning their lifetime warranty products, and a week later a brand-new scale appeared via UPS. That kind of service is becoming increasingly rare. We have wide pine floors and our old scale showed a different reading on different areas of the floor. And we would have to step on it several times and get an average because it showed different readings each time. This scale shows the SAME reading no matter what or where it is on the floor! We had this scale for about six months when I stepped on it one day and the black glass on the back of the scale shattered. I'm not the lightest person in the world, but not near the 300 pound capacity. It may be that the scale was on the grouting between the floor tiles, but this is unacceptable.Product Review: Good Scale

This electronic scale is accurate and easy to use. It looks cool and works well. My only issue with it is that you have to stand on it for a couple seconds before your weight comes up on the screen.
