Product Review: INACCURATE and INCONSISTENT

I don't expect a $35 scale to accurately measure my BF% but why is this so INCONSISTENT?? The measurements really do vary by the second, with the scale on the floor in the same place. The weight measurement is pretty accurate however.

SO, AFTER WORKING FOR ALL OF 3 MONTHS, THE THING DIED ON ME!!! It constantly displays "ERR" and I can never get it to work again. I will never buy another Taylor product ever again.

Followed directions to set the scale up out of the box. The scale weighed me a different weight with a 23 pound variance below/above my actual weight. I took the batteries out and tried new ones... no change. This scale is worthless and going right back to Target. DO NOT BUY!Product Review: It was an awesome scale, while it lasted

We purchased this scale in August of 2009, it worked really well and told pretty accurate fat and water content in your body.
In March 2010 it started acting funky, we thought it was just the batteries. We have replaced the batteries 5 times in the last few months and today, almost one year and a week after buying this, the scale is completely dead. Even with new batteries and reseting, the screen only reads "Error".
It's a good product when it is functioning, but it DOES NOT LAST!

This scale was working fine for 3 weeks and it has decided stop working. I was the only one using it and I started to receive the message of error #1(over 220 kg), but I'm sure that I still weight around 68 kg. Don't waste your time or money. This is probably the nicest looking scale in within a $100 range. A lot of company uses the bathroom I keep this in, and I was not afraid to leave it out.
But in terms of useability this little guy is not a winner. The buttons are very difficult to use. I often had to pick the scale up and click the buttons with my hand just to start it up every day.
Finally the battery life is terrible. I'm talking 2 months. It's just unacceptable.
It functioned alright, the scale seemed to read a little light, but not by much. And if I was careful about having clean feet the body fat readings seemed consistent, though definitely low (I had often still had wet feet, so this probably affected it).
I cannot reccomend this item, however.
