Customer Review: A little hard to figure it out.

I bought this yesterday at a local store. It's a little hard to set up and even harder to delete a profile once you set it up. I guess you have to take the batteries out and put them back in and start over if you make a mistake setting it up. The instructions are marginal at best. There's an 8 on the reading and I could not figure out what the 8 meant. I guess it must mean % (percent). It would say 8F:29 on the readout. I guess that means %Fat:29, but I'm not sure as the instuctions do not say. Also I'm not sure the body fat works right. Most every other time I've had it checked I come up with a 26. This thing tells me I'm 29 and sometimes it says 30. I'm taking it back and getting a different kind.

A harmless electrical signal flows from one foot, through the body and back down to the other foot, registering the impedance between the fat and muscle.
