I have always used Targon since I discovered it. It works great on food stains also. Although I prefer the original flavor, the mint is better than going without. I feel the original works better on stains too. Also, it would appear this can now only be found through Amazon.com. I learned of this product two or three years ago and have used it for that long.
I indulge in smoking tobacco occasionally and I don't like the after taste I have nor do I like others to react negatively to me because of it. This mouthwash does a good job of removing the tobacco after taste and leaving me with a pleasant taste. Other people don't seem to notice a tobacco smell after I use this mouthwash. I say this because I'm around some people who would never pass up an opportunity to make negative comments. ( I only smoke out doors EVER so smoke on my clothes is not a big problem.) This product is expensive compared to other brands and it very difficult to find in my area.Hence my ordering on the net.But it seems to work and I like it. I keep this product for when I need it and use other mouth wash for regular morning and nightly use to help with the expense.

This product is good for removing tar stains from teeth, but I've noticed that my gums are irritated in some spots. This is probably due to the high levels of alcohol in it.Product Review: rating targon

Targon is the best mouthwash they make. It works great for not only smokers, but also anyone with recurrent calc. We have many patients use this mouthwash and has cut their cleaning in half. Some were needing to see us every three months and with Targon we see them every six. We wish this product would be more available. It has become very hard for our patients to purchase.
