Product Reviews of Tanita HD351 Digital Scale with Memory Function

Product Review: Excellent!
Summary: 5 Stars

Accurate weight (darn it) and easy to read. Memory for four users, for help in remembering what the last reading was. Big enough to stand on while holding your pet and still be able to peer over the critter and see the weight. (Some restrictions do apply...like big hairy dogs that wiggle.)

Product Review: Ideal Scale
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this scale for use by a weight loss club I formed at my church. I've found this to be an ideal scale for a number of reasons:

a) It's accurate up to 440 pounds. Too many scales top out around 300, which isn't enough in today's culture.
b) It's accurate to 0.2 pounds. This allows people to more accurately track their weight fluctuations.
c) It has a very large platform to stand on. People with big feet can still read their weight!

I would readily recommend this scale to anyone who values the features listed above.

Product Review: Very Functional and Accurate Scale
Summary: 5 Stars

The scale has five buttons along the edge. You tap a button with your toe and the button number comes on the screen for a couple seconds. Then the screen goes to 0.0 on the large numbers and your previous weight on the smaller numbers below that. You step on the scale and it shows your current weight. The next time you use it, that number will show as your previous weight. It takes a couple seconds for the screen to clear and be ready for the next weighing. You can use the five buttons for five different people. Or if you want, you can use more than one button for yourself. Say, one for "morning weight" and one for "evening weight."

The scale has a large surface to stand on. More than a foot square. But it's also very thin, so cabinet doors will open over it, etc. It's very accurate. I put a 20 lb. dumbell on it and it said 20.0. Then I weighed myself while holding two 20 lb. dumbells. I weighed exactly 40.0 lbs more than when I wasn't holding the dumbells. Good enough.

This is just what I was looking for... a no nonsense, accurate scale that remembers my previous weight. I like it.

Product Review: Accuracy a plus, but no confidentiality
Summary: 4 Stars

I totally love this scale for its design -- low to the ground, and very spacious. And it's reliably accurate. The only down side would be the lack of privacy in regards to scale memory. The ability to erase the recorded weight would be a benefit to those who feel their stats are personal. I get around it by weighing a bleach bottle afterwards.
Still, it's a great scale and I'd buy it again.

Product Review: Great Scale
Summary: 5 Stars

I've had this scale for about 6 months and am very pleased with it. Due to my experience with a bad scale and my OCD (LOL) I always weigh myself 4 times. When I weigh this scale either weighs the same everytime or varies only by 2 or 4 tenths, which is very good considering how your weigh shifts when you stand or try balance on it. With its features and high weight capacity its well worth the money.
