Product Review: Good while it worked.

I had this scale for about a year, and then it stopped working. There were no loose wires; I replaced the batteries; I shook it trying to get it to work. I tried for a couple of weeks. It was dead. I would not buy again. At the time, it was more expensive. But, even at the lower price, you don't want it to be a yearly expense.
I am buying a lower cost model, without the "hi-tech" fat monitor. If it dies after a year--no problem, but the simpler design means there is less to go wrong.

I like this scale because it seems to be accurate. I've moved it around to different spots and the same reading comes up. I like the fact that my husband and I can do our reading separately. Great scale. Easy to understand instructions. Light weight. Consistently accurate. Handsome. The best digital scale I've ever owned. UPDATE 8-9-09: I now owned this scale over 2 years and is still working like a charm and is very consistent. It is truly the best scale I've ever owned. BUY!
