The Tanita Duo Scale Plus Fat Monitor is considered a very durable scale that is accurate for the most part, with some reported exceptions usually involving external factors. If you are planning to count calories, or monitor heart rate and body fat during your intense workout sessions, then a Tanita monitor is certainly nothing less than a safe buy. I'm a stickler for details...you almost have to be to buy a scale that's accurate to the 1/10 of a pound. If you don't actually want an honest answer about your weight, don't buy this, but if you want the God's honest truth than this is for you. I'm not entirely convinced that the body fat and water weight calculations are 100% correct, there's a lot of variables and the average consumer has no way to test the validity of it, but as far as weight measurements go this scale is marvelous.Product Review: Tanita scale
