This thing is ridiculous. I have a Homedics scale right next to the the Tanita and the Homedics is always consistent. The Tanita body fat % varies by 20% depending on how warm my feet are, whether I took a shower prior or used the hot tub. Somehow the Homedics is consistent regardless of these factors. Of course I don't have the box and I can't return this useless scale.Product Review: Good

Today after 2 years of happy use, my Ironman BC-554 refuses to work properly. I call to the 800-826-4828 number on a sticker on the back of the scale for repair service orientation, and receive a message that the number has changed to (800) 313-2300. When I call there, what a surprise, its a porno line. So I go into the internet and finally get the number of the company. When I call, they request the original receipt, without it the repair costs $75 plus shipping. Since this is what I paid for originally, I see that this is a very short lived piece of equipment. I will not buy a Tanitas scales again. Thank you very much for your understanding.Product Review: Good Value!

The Tanita gets used every day. The set up was easy. I use athlete mode and the readings seem to be very consistent based on exersize and diet. It makes tracking goals easy. The monitor has functioned flawlesly with two users.Product Review: Good company

Used it for over two years. LCD stopped working , they replaced it free of charge. Accurate. A bit heavy. The newer models looks better and have more functions. Very Pleased
