This product does not accurately measure weight if you have a small foot. It works well for a men's size 10 but you have to coax it to measure a woman's size 5 foot. It was a really expensive investment that does not work 50% of the time!Product Review: Essential Tool for any Athelete

He tenido la oportunidad de adquirir varias Tanitas BC554 para el uso en casa y mi experiencia con el aparato ha sido muy buena; No es frecuente que compre cosas por internet, pero las ocasiones que lo he hecho con Amazon su cumplimiento y seriedad ha sido muy pero muy buena. Le estoy perdiendo el miedo a comprar por internet.

Product Review: Excellent for trend analysis with a life of a year or two max

I purchased my first scale and really enjoyed it. It was mainly used for trend analysis. I enjoyed it so much that when my daughter needed a scale I bought her one. Within a year or so the display went out. The unit appeared to be functioning, just the display was not working right. I changed batteries with the other scale with no luck. I was upset that I couldn't get Tanita to replace so I used my daughter's scale when she stopped using it. That worked well for another year or so until the display went on the fritz in that unit as well. Great unit during it's life cycle. Good for trend analysis. Expensive to use especially since the units don't last more than a year or two. I'm purchasing a less expensive scale that will provide me the information I need at a lower price point.
