Customer Review: Hard to go wrong with this little kit
Summary: 4 Stars
The meter clips on to the top of the test strip canister. I put enough lancets and strips in the can to last me all day and I can test anywhere with the contents of one pocket. It's easy to use, has a simple memory feature so you can pull up previous test results, and it has a little sleeve for the can with an elastic loop to hold the lancing device. This is great for me because I hate carrying a purse; tester, strips, lancets, and lancing device are all in one bundle so I can grab that and a few alcohol prep swabs and be ready for whatever.
Doesn't have any fancy tracking features, but I use a free Android app called "On Track" to record my values manually. If I miss one I can just flip through the tester's memory to find it.
The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the mini-lancing device that comes with the kit. I found it to be unusually painful. The same lancets in a cheap CVS lancing device were significantly more comfortable. Any of the round pen-shaped devices will fit in the loop though, so I just tossed the mini one and keep a full size one with it instead.
