Product Reviews of TOOTHBRUSH PROFESSIONAL

Product Review: Highly effective - save big on dentistry costs!
Summary: 5 Stars

Until I began using this electric toothbrush, every visit to the dental hiegienist would reveal at least one minor cavity needing attention. This cost time, money, and gradual erosion of teeth (every cavity repaired moves you one step closer to needing a tooth capped -- big, big expense).

I've been using this toothbrush for the last few years (approx. 4 or 5 years) and since then have never once had a visit to the dentist reveal a single cavity needing attention. This is in contrast to always having had one needing repairs over the previous 20 years. Highly effective! Considering the cost of dental work, after buying this device, I've actually saved plenty of money!

The toothbrush runs on a sealed, non-replaceable internal rechargeable battery. Charging is by magnetic waves, so no bare electrical contacts are exposed, so no danger of shorting the toothbrush or of any shocks. Same goes for the base upon which the toothbrush is charged. Brushes are easy to click on and off and easy to clean, as is the electric toothbrush body itself. Soft rubber grip and long tool (the electric toothbrush body is approx. 6" long) make it easy to handle, so it's easy to reach the molars. Thus far, the rechargeable batteries still seem to be taking a full charge, so this tool also seems durable. Once the internal rechargeables give out, however (as do all rechargeable batteries, eventually), then they can not be replaced and the tool must be discarded wholesale. One very smart aspect of the design of this tool: out of environmental concern, the internal rechargeable battery may be easily extracted for recycling before the rest of the device is discarded. This should be done, as the metals in rechargeable batteries are toxic and an environmental hazard. Most stores where cell phone batteries or electronics are purchased have recycling drop-off boxes for rechargeable batteries.

Product Review: Put A Jackhammer In Your Mouth!
Summary: 1 Stars

After my third Sonicare toothbrush in 10 years bit the dust, I decided to try an Oral B. Plus, I thought the combo spinner/sonic head might do a better job. OMG! I've got power drills that have less torque. If you've got any loose teeth or sensitivity, don't get this puppy--it'll vibrate you into the third dimension of a headache. And the final time I used it, the sonic part of the brush head caught my lip in-between the handle and the head. That was it--off to the recycling center and back to Sonicare.
