I have been using Curls Rock for a few years now, and it really is one of the best for naturally curly hair. You don't need a lot, about two pumps, if your hair is shoulder length or longer. I find that it keeps the frizz down and defines my curls well. The trick is to put it on while your hair is wet. I really love Curls Rock Curl Amplifier - it is the only product I have ever found for my naturally curly/wavy hair that makes it look great in HUMID Houston, Texas. You can dilute it with water or a conditioner to use for making twists or just put it on and scrunch for more natural curls. My only two beefs with it are that it smells just a little funky (like urine maybe?) when I'm putting it on but I've had people ask what perfume I'm wearing (maybe they're into urine, who knows?) and it's really slimy/sticky. Wash hands well after using or people will wonder what you've been up to! Product Review: Curls Rock rocks!!

I have very, very thick, long, naturally curly hair. I need a product that will keep the frizz and volume down. This is the best product I've come across. Yes, it goes on sticky and you have to wash your hands rather well after it's application. However, your hair turns soft and tame after it dries. I squirt two pumps in my hands, bend over with my hair to the ground, and shake/scrunch in the product. I let my hair air dry and it turns out perfect every time. If your hair gets "crunchy" when dry, you've added too much. This product not only saves me primping time, it has made my curls look gorgeous! I'm on the Amazon purchasing plan. I get 2 bottles, every 3 months, mailed to my door for the low price of $17 (no shipping or tax!). I have not found it for a better deal anywhere else!Product Review: Sticky, flaky, overall a poor product.

I used this product on the ends of my curls until I saw how it easily it appeared in my dark hair a while after I had worked it into the ends. It was really sticky and gross. My friend purchased her own and used it for a while and swore it gave her dandruff. Try Nexxus Curl Energee for soft curls without excessive stickiness and product flakiness.
