Product Review: It's better than a bulky mop!

I just got this a few days ago and was delighted to be able to clean under my stove and reach those corners. The swivel is very nice and I can finally clean difficult areas (like completely around the toilet) without a paper towel and spray.
I don't think this will completely replace my mop, but it will definitely help for the in-between times.
Hopefully I will always have replacement mopheads & charged batteries when it is time to clean!!!

This product is a good to initiate the mopping novice but for the real professional reading this review you're going to want to remove most of your flooring in the kitchen and replace it with a mesh net and sturdy bracings. You will then place a removable tarp underneath the netting to catch everything you spill in the kitchen that sifts through the mesh, from cod batter mix, silica, phosphorus, anything you may be cooking with. It's an unusual method, but you'll find your floorspace much cleaner. And the tarp can be wrapped up without spilling it all over your basement. I like my basement clean because I have a vintage white rotary dial telephone collection there, one of North America's foremost collections.
So this Swiffer, while it does remove some dirt, is by far one of the lesser methods.

I have been using the wetjet for about a yr now. So far I have replaced the batteries once.
I love it. I have dogs and there are always little footprints on the tile as they use potty mats and the WetJet is great for quick cleanups. It is also great when u deep clean! I love the cleaner that has febreeze in it.
I am not as please w/the hardwood cleaner, it doesn't leave as good of a shine as my current cleaner. That is why I have 4 stars.

Super easy to use! It does NOT eat batteries as someone else reported. Not unless you use it several times a day. And I wouldn't use it for really awful messes that require major soak up. But for general use, to mop in the kitchen or bath, this thing is a breeze! I have a white kitchen floor and so sometimes I place a thin scrubbing pad between the Swiffer pad and the floor if there's some tougher spots to clean. Be warned though, the supplies for this sucker are expensive.Product Review: Leaves film on my hardwood floors! Now I have to mop again!

I've had this Swiffer for two years and I can tell you that I hate it. I put it in my cleaning closet after buying another microfiber mop and only use it if that mop's pad is dirty. Well, today I pulled out the old Swiffer Wet Jet, scrubbed to my heart's content, and now I have nice, STREAKY, DULL hardwood floors! I have to re-mop my whole kitchen all over again and am putting this thing on Craigslist to give away for FREE! Also, the battery compartment does keep coming off, and the replacement pads are too $$. Save your money and buy a different product!
