Product Review: Buyer Beware

I purchased this product for 27 dollars at the walmart in town. I got it home, charged it for 18 hours. The product only ran on its first full charge for around 20 minutes..I really don't know how these people can get away with their products pkg description as it is entirely 'false advertisment'.
This product DOES NOT pick up kitty litter, It DOES NOT pick up cereal as the brightly colored picture on the box shows that it does. In fact it barely picks up small sand and dirt. I was entirely disappointed in the product and its advertising..I do however own the swiffer mop and I love that product.

Fantastic product. I owned the original for about three years. This thing is the fastest, most efficient, and best way to clean wood floors. Far more sanitary than a broom.
Highly recommend running the battery completely down a few times and recharging to full charge.

I ordered another Swiffer Vac kit and it will not charge. I have had two of these Vacs in the past. The first one lasted three years. The second one is still going, although at a greatly reduced vacum. The third, which I just received, only lasts about five minutes after an overnight charge. Therefore, I am sending it back.
I noticed a neighbor had a Swiffer vac with a different charger. So, it appears some changes were made at one point and that change is obviously electrical and possibly battery related.
Regardless, with the amount of wood fllors we have in our house, we rely on this product.

I bought the Swiffer vacuum/wet wipe less than a year ago and the charger does not work anymore.
I have written to P and G three times and I haven't gotten a replacement. Finally today, I was told I would get a coupon for a free Swiffer starter kit.. don't know if this will include the charger.
Good idea, crappy parts!
** - EDIT - I received the coupon for a whole replacement. The batteries in this unit do not retain charge even to sweep up my living room. I guess there are compromises to the lightweight design.. the battery is small and quite useless.
Product Review: Cheap, Effective & Easy to Use

This is a great product. I've had it for years - since it came out. The same one works without any problems. I use it daily or every other day. The battery does not always last for the whole duration, depending on how long I'm running it. But I recharge it and clean something else while it recharges. I recommend this highly. If it dies I will buy a new one. For the price you just can't get anything better. The pick up is fantastic.Product Review: Clean and Easy

I purchased this right after we installed three rooms of laminate. Having 1 dog and 2 cats, there is a lot of hair on the floors. Using the Swiffer, what I don't get with the pad, I get with the vac. It is an amazing product. Well worth the money. There are coupons out there for it so find the coupons before you buy. You will be very happy with your product.
