Product Review: Awesome for a quick sweep Summary: 5 Stars
This little vac is wonderful for our family. We have two pets and three children leaving crumbs on our floor constantly. I keep this in a closet close to an outlet where it charges. When I need to sweep around the hardwoods, I pull it out and have it put back in less than 3 minutes. It vaccums very well and swivels around corners with ease. I honestly don't change the cloth often and have even used paper towels on it instead. It just works great for me, allowing me to not have to bend down and deal with a dirty dust pan that still leaves a line of dirt on the floor. Thanks to my sister for getting this as a birthday gift for me. I would think most people would like this unless you have heavier items that won't come up. It gets cereal which is grand.

This is the best little tool for quick clean-up. It is very powerful. Have a second one as a back-up because I don't want to be without one. Charge lasts pretty long too. Way to go Swiffer!!!
Product Review: Barely better than just a Swiffer broom Summary: 1 Stars
This thing seriously impressed me (at first) - though I keep my hardwood floors pretty clean so I didn't have much to pick up upon first use. Weeks later after cooking/entertaining I had hoped to make getting crumbs and such off of the floor a snap. Now I'm finding that this product isn't much better than just having a plain old Swiffer to push the dirt and simply get up with a dust pan - you'd actually expend less energy doing that. This is because quite frequently you have to double or even triple back over a spot you've already gone over to get what was left behind. It seems that the units only sucking power is right in the center of the plastic piece on the front of the vac. Even though it expands outwards horizontally this appears to be nothing more than making you feel as if it has a wider range than it really does. I understand the intended physics of it - the center is where the suction is. When the entire plastic piece comes in contact with the floor the vacuum force is applied the entire length of the plastic. Great theory but in the real world when you're using it the plastic vacuum head does not come in complete contact with the floor - and as one reviewer pointed out already it tends to scratch your hardwood floors a bit because there's no felt or rubber barrier between the hard plastic and your floor. If they did fix the vacuum head so it could stay in contact with the floor at all times during vacuuming they'd have to put a scratch protection barrier on it.
I'm seriously disappointed in this product. Besides the inferior vacuum head design there's the weak motor & battery combination. First off as a person who's studied electronics at even the most basic component level I'm well aware that just about anything at the consumer level that's battery powered & cordless is always going to be weaker than a corded model. Likewise - corded appliances are weaker than gas powered appliances. It's a matter of physics & forces. That's fine; but I'd rather have a heavier unit in my hand because of a bigger motor & battery to get more sucking power.
The cost of the unit doesn't make this thing viable when you consider simply sweeping dirt into a pile with a regular swiffer and bending over 1 or 2 times to sweep up the pile will cause you to expend LESS overall energy than going over the same area 3-5 times just to get a couple extra crumbs that were missed with the Swiffer Vac.
Good idea but poorly engineered & implemented. If I can find my receipt this piece of junk is going back to the store I bought it from.
Product Review: Battery dies too fast Summary: 1 Stars
What no one seems to mention is the vacuum only lasts for a few minutes before the suction dies off. The vacuum only lasts about 4 months before the battery will not keep a charge. These are very cheap to make so they make the money on the refill pads and keep you in the cycle of buying a new vacuum every couple of months.
